What are the questions NOT to ask during interview?
It is amazing to know that there are many potential good candidates who asked the WRONG questions and due to that their opportunity to secure the job had gone down the drain, here are the questions you will need to take note and avoid asking them:
1) What will be the salary offered? In this case if you are on the first round of interview, you should not be asking the question as it is still very initial stage. In the event that you are offered a position, then they will discuss about the salary package, there are cases where they will ask what will be your expected salary then you should be more open to discuss about the salary.
Hence – DO NOT talk about the salary first unless the interviewer talks about it.
2) What will be the working hours and days? Although it is important to you, this questions shows how “important” it meant to you and with this wrong impression if there is another candidate that are of the same level, you will not stand a chance.
3) Do I need to work overtime? This question shows that you are not a hardworking person, hence you should not ask this question at all. This is very obvious but sad to say many people still asked these kind of questions.
4) What will be the bonus payout from the company. Never ask these question during the initial interview because it shows you are looking for the highest offer, although it is not wrong to do so but generally employer do not like to hire people of such “quality.”
