Case Study 1 – Qimen Bazi Destiny Analysis
Hi, welcome to Qi Men Dun Jia. My name is Dougles Chan.
Today, we will talk about a case study on master analysis using Qi Men Dun Jia, which is generally known as a divination tool. However, apparently, not many people know that this Qi Men Dun Jia can be used for Bazi analysis. I will give you some examples from this case study to show you the powerfulness of this Qi Men Dun Jia and the accuracy it can be.
This is a Qi Men Dun Jia chart that we plot for this person who was born on September 24, 2016, at 14:18.
In these particular 8 boxes, which we call the four pillars. In normal Bazi reading, it is very common, and they use these four pillars to analyze a person’s character or the person’s journey of life, or some people call it fortune-telling.
However, in Qi Men Dun Jia, we not only use these four pillars but we also have these particular 9 boxes, including many different symbols, to decipher the information about a person’s character:
In this case, I will give you a brief overview of how this Qi Men Dun Jia can do a Bazi analysis so precise that it can amaze a lot of people.
What we need to do is to find out where this person is in terms of the personal symbol, which is in the Day stem.
So, the Day stem is the personal symbol of the person who was born on September 24, 2016, at 14:18.
This symbol is “Gui”. In order to find the character of this person, we need to find where “Gui” is in the 9 boxes below. We can see that “Gui” is in box number 2, box number 5, and box 5. (“Gui” in box number 2 is hidden).
So, box number 2 and box number 9 are the person’s character.
The question is, why are there two boxes instead of one?
In box number 2, it represents his age from birth until he is 35 to 40 years old. After 35 to 40 years old, his energy will change to box number 9. Therefore, box number 2 and box number 9 are also boxes describing his character.
This is how the information about the character comes about.
Then, we will actually look at all the symbols to tell what each symbol means. In general, I will just give you an overview.
Let’s look at box number 2
We have: “9Heaven”, “Dispute”, “Destroyer”.
“9Heaven” means a person who has a lot of expectations. He has a high standard for himself and for the rest of the people around him.
“Dispute” can also mean that this person is very good at arguing and creating some dispute within himself.
“Destroyer” means that this person will not be able to focus on one thing for too long. After a while, he will find a good reason to move on to something else. There is no focus in this person’s life, so it will have a lot of changes.
Next, we will move from box number 2 to box number 9, which means the energy changes after 35 to 40 years (plus or minus). It really depends on a lot of other factors:
We have: “Leader”, “Death door”, and “Problem”.
“Leader” means that, based on his high standard of achievement and his ability, he is slowly transformed into a person who has more leadership qualities. I would say that this is a potential person who is going to be. But of course, if he wants to go for a job that does not have the ability to change himself, to become a good leader, or if the environment is not able to support him, he may not become a good leader.
“Death Door” means that this person is very focused and stubborn. It is not easy to change his mind. Once he makes up his mind, he will fix what he wants to do.
A “Problem” star also means that this person may have some affinity related to metaphysics or religious activities.
Generally, we are talking about box number 2 and box number 9. This is a general description of this person.
Case Study 2 – Qimen Bazi Destiny Analysis
Welcome to Qi Men Dun Jia. Hi, my name is Dougles Chan. Today I am going to share with you one case study for this Bazi reading and Bazi analysis using Bazi Destiny Qi Men Dun Jia.
Today, this case study is related to this person who was born on August 4,1993, at 14:51. This is a Qi Men Dun Jia chart:
It is based on the 4 pillars and these are the 9 palaces. Based on the 9 palaces, we are able to dissect the information of the person in terms of the person’s character, luck, health, direct wealth, indirect wealth, education, and even marriage. In this particular case study, I will go through some of the things that students will learn and what they can do to get information about this person in terms of the character.
In order to find this person’s character, we need to know what his Day Stem is.
We have this symbol which is called “Ding”. In Chinese, “Ding” is a small fire. We will need to take reference in the 9 palaces. “Ding” is in box 4 and box 6:
Baes on box 4 and box 6, we are able to have an overview of what the main character of the person is and likelihood that his character will not change. That means if there are 6 groups of characters, he will use the character in box 4 and box 5 as a prominent character in his life whether he is young or old.
Why are there two boxes? We need to divide them into two different sectors. Box 4 is the beginning of his life until around 35 years old, he can be 40. Box 6 is after 35 years old. Every different symbol tells us a specific character, a range of character, and it can be very pinpoint to us.
“Leader” symbolizes a person who is born to be a leader or potential to be a leader when he is young – before 35 years old. If this person is being asked to be a leader, he will join in well and be willing to become a leader and he enjoys becoming a leader. He doesn’t really take orders from people because he is a leader. There is also “Rest”. “Rest” represents somebody who is very chill, very relaxed, not so hard working. He likes to enjoy life and doesn’t really like to compete and compare with other people. Of course, there are also a lot of descriptions regarding this “Rest” and “‘Leader” but I am just giving you a basic overview of what is happening. “Doctor” represents this person who is very talented, brilliant. If you notice, there is a Horse, which means that this person is actually very active. He cannot stay in the office for too long. He cannot be stationed in one place for too long. He is not really stable. He likes to be active. So, there is basic information about this character when he is around baby all the way to 35 years old.
Let’s focus on box 6:
In box 6, we have “WTiger”, “View”, and “Advisor”. “WTiger” means somebody who is very fierce and very aggressive. If you want to step on your steel he will retaliate you back, representing in box 6 after 35 years old. “View Door” represents somebody who likes to be presentable, likes to be pretty, likes very high-end stuff. This is a very elegant person, so in this aspect, we can expect this person to dress well, to be presentable and like to make themselves feel very pretty, very handsome. This is how a View Door person will be. At the same time, as a Advisor, this person is a very cultured person that means in terms of education and society, he will be somebody who is quite well-mannered and he generally would like to study as a whole. We can also say that his education can be quite interesting but that could be another story we have to look at in the next couple of minutes to see the relationship.
However, this chart we are seeing is very interesting, so let me explain to you further.
If you see this particular chart, in box 4 and box 6, “Ren” and “Ding” are called Stem. They are flipping. One is down and one is up. The same character, the same symbol. This particular chart is a very special chart, which is a Fanyin chart. It means that this person’s character will flip and change very consistently. Rightfully, he should have the major character in box 4 when he is young until 35 years old and move on to box 6 character after 35 years old. However, because this is a Fanyin chart, the whole representation changes, which means that when he is young, his character will be in box 4 and in certain years or certain months, his character will change to box 6 which means he can be a good leader. But after a few weeks or a few months, he will become very aggressive (box 4). This flip-flopping character will always consistently change depending on which month and which year. It is quite predictable and will be able to understand which month he would change, which month he would not change. This is his original character. We have to be a bit mindful that he is always changing in terms of character, sometimes he can be very moody, sometimes he can be very active. We can say that we do not really understand what he is thinking. In fact, he doesn’t know that. He believes that this is one of his characters but in fact, it is a flip-flopping character and it is always happening from day one all the way until he dies. It is not so fantastic. However, if you are able to manage it, it should be pretty okay. So, this is Fanyin chart for Qi Men Dun Jia.
Let us look further in terms of the relationship with the academy. “Advisor” (Tian Fu) represents something related to academy.
When he is young, he is in box 4, and sometimes is in box 6. In terms of elements,it is actually clashing with him, meaning that sometimes he can score very well in his examination but sometimes he cannot score very well in his examination. External forces will make him to score and external forces will also make him not to score in the examination. End of the day, we have to understand that because of his flip-flopping character, the academy may do well in certain years and it may not do well in certain years.
Next, move on to business. “Life” stands for business.
If his character is before 35 years old, he will be trying to make money in this business. He can make a lot of money. At the same time, there will be a lot of money available. Of course there is something we have to be a bit more careful about because there is “Bandit”. He will make a lot of money. However, because of “Bandit”, he will also have to spend a lot of money. Spending money and making money equate to not making at all. So, he needs to learn how to manage his money.
After he is 35 years old, his energy is Metal. His business is Fire. Fire is clashing with Metal. In this aspect, I would say that his relationship with his business may not be so fantastic after 35 years old. But of course, having said that, this is Fanyin chart, sometimes his energy will go back to box 4. He still can make some money but we must remember that “Bandit” is always in box 9 to stop the profit, which means whenever money comes in, it always goes out. That is something we have to be very mindful about.
Next, we go to this particular thing called the career. Career is represented by “Open Door”:
In box 3, there is an Emptiness. An Emptiness is a circle, meaning the energy of this particular “Open Door” is not strong. It is totally discounted. We also have “Serpent” and “Destroyer”. “Xin” also stands for mistakes. So, in this aspect, I would suspect that when he is young or even when he is older, he may not enjoy the working life and he will make a lot of mistakes. He will have a lot of worries. Although his energy and his job are actually in harmony but because of this particular box 3, it is not going to support the job. So, he will have a lot of difficulties staying in a job, managing a job and working for people. That is not a very good thing.
When he grows older, after 35 years old, his energy will transform to box 6, he will actually clash with the job, which means he can control the job but doesn’t mean that he enjoys the job. He is able to manage it but because of the energy of this “Open Door” is discounted, so he may not really like to do and work for people. That is something we have to understand. In terms of elements, the Metal will actually chop the Wood.
We also have to see this person’s relationship in terms of marriage. This is represented by the “Partner”:
“Death” is the worst door in Qi Men Dun Jia, which means that the energy of his relationship with the spouse is not good. He will feel that his relationship with the spouse will be pretty dead and pretty lifeless. There is no energy. The relationship will not be so fantastic at all.
This is how we actually see the information about the relationship of the person in terms of career, academy, etc, We can also see the character of the person and information can be very precise. This is one of the case studies under Qi Men Dun Jia for Bazi Destiny. Thanks for reading.
Case Study 3 – Qimen Bazi Destiny Analysis
Welcome to Qi Men Dun Jia. This is Dougles Chan. Today, we will talk about how to read a Bazi Chart.
Before we go into this analysis, just a disclaimer in terms of the information when you do a Bazi Chart reading. There is always an answer with the correct timing. If you pick the wrong time, everything will be wrong. Different places and different times will have different information. So, we need to make some adjustments to the timing. For example, if you were born at 17:00, we might have to make some adjustments, plus or minus, because of your location, because different times and different places will have different adjustments. Your input of your timing in this chart will likely be different. In some cases, do not even use your birth date on your birth certificate or from the doctor’s certification at what time you were born because it is not an accurate time. You need to make some adjustments.
Let’s move on. We are talking about Bazi reading and this person. How do we read this person’s character?
This is about a person who was born on May 13, 1977, at 19:13.
Let’s look at the main character of this person. We always look at this (Day). This is called “Geng”.
This person will go through hardship. Generally speaking, he or she will have a lot of obstacles in life, but that does not mean they are good or bad. Whether the person is strong enough to overcome all these obstacles, we have to see the main character. So where is the main character? Where is this “Geng”?
We have to look at the box of “Geng”.
Box number 3 is when the person is younger, from 0 to 20 – 30 – 40 years old. There is no definite time, but that is the first half of his or her life. The second half of his or her life is based on box number 8.
It means that even after the first half, the person may still have the character of the first half. There is a mixture of everything. His (or her) character will have a mixture of box number 3 and box number 8.
Look at the specific details of this person.
“Serpent” means that this person is actually a very worrisome person. He (or she) will always like to think too much. Because of that, it creates a lot of issues in his (or her) career, relationships, and life.
Interestingly, this person is “Open” (Kai Men). Kai Men is a very good sign in terms of character because he is always able to create a lot of opportunities. A lot of interesting things will come to him or her. Hence, he will create a lot of wealth, opportunities, businesses, and careers.
If you look at box number 3 carefully, there is an “Advisor” (Tian Fu Star). This is also a very positive sign. He is a leader and a great person. He can lead a lot of people, which means that this person is a great leader. If you want to get a job as a career, you should be able to manage a company well as a manager, a CEO, or the main director.
Of course, let’s look further. In box number 8, there is a “Leader” (Zhi Fu). It is also a leader, which means that both of them have a lot of leadership.
And also, there is a “Dispute” (jing men). This person is a very interesting person. He (or she) is a very good talker. He can speak very well. He can lead.
But, there is an “Impulse” in box number 8″, which means this person is actually a very impulsive person. So, what happens when you are an impulsive person?
I will always advise this person to not decide things immediately. Just push the thing later, maybe a few days, a few weeks, or a few months later, depending on how urgent they should make you have to be. So, when you make a condition, it is not so fast. You tend to make fewer mistakes.
This is what I can decipher from this person. Of course, we can always look at the health, career, and many others in terms of relationships and partners, who their partners are, and whether their marriage is going to be good based on this Qi Men Dun Jia – Bazi Chart.
Case Study 4 – Qimen Bazi Destiny Analysis
Hello, welcome to Qi Men Dun Jia. My name is Dougles Chan. Today, I am going to talk about this particular case related to seeing a person’s career and using their Bazi to see their relationship and whether this Bazi is supposed to be good or bad for their career.
In order to see a person’s identity, what you need to do is to see the Day Stem which is represented by the symbol of Wu:
In the nine different boxes, we need to identify where the Wu is. Wu is in box 1 representing the person’s main character:
So, the person is located in box 1. Having said that, we have to notice that there is an Emptiness over here which is represented by a circle.
And there is also a Fuyin chart. That means this person is actually very stubborn. He has his own way of thinking but he’s also a very focused person. That means when he does things, he likes to focus and concentrate. Other people may feel that he is somebody who can be very stubborn. So, Fuyin people are usually very stubborn. Having said that, we will not go too much deeper into this particular character of this person, but we would look at the career opportunity for this person.
In terms of career, we will look at this particular symbol representing by the Open Door which is in box 6:
So, box 6 will tell us all the career opportunities for him. 9Earth in Chinese is Jiu Di. 9Earth and Doctor tell us that he could be related to education, culture, or something more civilized. But this 9Earth is telling us that the opportunity is limited or maybe the industry will be limited. That means based on his stubbornness, when he focuses on something such as a job, he will always focus on the particular area and will not move to any other industry. So, the career opportunity will be quite limited in terms of the jobs.
We also have to see the relationships of box 6 and box 1. Box 6 produces box 1 (him). Technically, the job is always coming to him. There is limited job offer but it’s always coming to him, so he doesn’t really have to work too hard to get a job.
However, we also have to see his general character:
There is BTortoise, Rest Door, and Bandit. Technically, he’s someone who is very chill, very relaxed. Maybe he’s a very fake person also because of BTortoise. Bandit means that he can do great things, but whether or not he wants to do – that’s another story. Having said that, he also belongs to the element of Wu which stands for money. That means although he is a very chill person, the opportunity provided to him in the career itself is going to come to him continuously. The money is also accumulating. He will have savings. He will have money in his life. This is something which is quite interesting for him. On the contrary, we also have to see that this Emptiness is telling us that he will have another character of box 9:
If there is no Emptiness, we will focus on box 1. But because of this emptiness, sometimes he belongs in box 1, sometimes he belongs in box 9 depending on which year. If I want to base it on the element, box 9 is Fire. Box 6 is Metal. So, he clashes with this job in certain years. Technically, there will be some variation in terms of this job opportunity. Sometimes the job comes to him, sometimes he clashes with his job. So, what does it mean when the person actually clashes with the job?
We need to understand that when the person is clashing with the job, it tells us that that person is lazy and does not like to work in specific years. So, we have to be very careful. Based on his character, in certain years, he’ll be very lazy and he doesn’t like to work. The job will come to him, but he will still be very chill. In this case, this person’s career will be up and down and limited. In certain years, he will not like the job, he will not enjoy the process of working for other people.
This is what we can decipher based on the chart. Because of his ability to be very focused and very stubborn, he will continue to enjoy this kind of chill life and does not want to work or prefer not to work. This is the explanation based on this example of the chart for this person who was born on October 5, 1970.
Case Study 5 – Bazi Destiny
Welcome to Qi Men Dun Jia. My name is Dougles Chan. I am a Qimen teacher. Today, I am going to share with you how to see the career prospects of a person using a Qi Men Dun Jia chart for destiny reading. Destiny reading is actually a very powerful tool in Qimen that allows you to see the potential of the person in a life, whether it is career, business, direct wealth, indirect wealth, relationship, and many other things.
Today, we’re going to cover this particular sub-topic related to the career of a person to see whether it’s in line with this person. We are looking at this chart which is a Qimen chart being plotted for a person who was born on October 2, 1974.
Because this is 2022, based on 1974, this person is somewhere around 47-48 years old depending on whether the birthday is calculated exactly. In this context, we should be looking at box 8.
Box 6 will tell us about the character of this person. We have a Serpent, View, and Doctor. But we are more interested today in understanding the relationship of this person and his career. His career is represented by one symbol which is called the Open Door or in Chinese, we call Kai Men. Kai Men is in box 9.
