When both panels place the Life Door in non-conflict you have the first yes for activation.

Three straightforward tests before activation

When at least one growth or protector Star sits with the Life Door you gain a multiplier on chance of success. When two or more beneficial Stars align with the Life Door you can move from cautious activation to operational activation. When hostile Stars dominate the palace, decline activation and seek another timing.

How the 8 Gods change the calculus

The 8 Gods indicate moral or energetic tendencies that either bless or curse a plan. When benevolent 8 Gods accompany the Life Door they create a buffer against unforeseen harm. When hostile 8 Gods are present you are exposed even if Stars and panels look decent.

Activation without the Three Wonders aligned is not bold, it is gamble; do not confuse courage with recklessness.

When to activate for specific Life cases

For pregnancy, the Life Door must sit with growth Stars, supportive 8 Gods, and no exposure Stars in nearby palaces. For medical recovery, require the Life Door to be secured by protective 8 Gods and the Heaven and Earth panels to show steady, compatible elements. For relocation to a new domicile, require the Life Door to sit with Stars that increase stability and community acceptance, and require the Three Wonders to show environmental alignment.

Timing is not just hour or day

Timing includes your resources, your team, legal cover, and contingency capacity. Time the Life Door when you can physically enforce the protective measures it demands. Time it when you can accept slow, cumulative gains rather than quick wins.

When not to activate the Life Door

Do not force the Life Door when the nearby Doors suggest harm.
