Do you really need a basic foundation in metaphysics before learning Qi Men Dun Jia (Semendonjia)?

The honest answer is NO.

Many people hesitate to learn Qi Men Dun Jia because they believe they must first master Feng Shui, BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu, Astrology, or other metaphysical systems. This belief stops a lot of capable people from even starting.

The truth is this:
Qi Men Dun Jia is indeed a very complex and advanced system, but complexity does not mean it cannot be simplified.

In fact, the biggest mistake in metaphysics learning is trying to swallow everything at once.

Qi Men Dun Jia looks overwhelming only when you see it as one huge subject. But when broken down properly, this “complicated system” can be divided into small, structured, and digestible components.

And that is exactly how it should be taught.
