Qi Men Dun Jia Trainer and Data Analyst

Frederic Sipiere is a Qimen Dunjia consultant, researcher, and trainer whose interest in Chinese metaphysics began when he came across the Book of Changes (I Ching), which consists of hexagrams and commentaries by Confucius. He was curious to understand why Confucius not only wrote commentaries on a book considered to be for divination but also expressed a wish to devote his lifetime to the I Ching, which was later accorded importance as one of the classics in the Imperial Examination.
In his investment management career, he used I Ching divination, Tai Chi, and meditation to gain intuitive insights and achieve mental and emotional clarity. His wife remarked that she could always tell how bad the financial markets were by how much time he spent on the I Ching, Tai Chi, and meditation. In the day-to-day course of empirical research on financial markets, he discovered many similarities between methods of data analysis and systems of Chinese metaphysics, such as cyclical patterns and the attribution of events to causal factors.
During his research, he came across Qimen Dunjia (QMDJ), a system of divination and destiny analysis. Compared with Western and Indian astrology, it was highly intuitive and extended his use of the I Ching. It offered him deeper insights into human personality, growth potential, and provided a more refined analysis of events.
He saw that many could benefit from applying Qimen Dunjia (QMDJ), including data scientists, metaphysics practitioners, and project teams. For data scientists, QMDJ can be formulated as a data structure for statistical analysis and validation; for metaphysics practitioners, it adds an extra dimension; and for project teams, it introduces an out-of-the-box element in brainstorming sessions.
In addition to Qimen Dunjia (QMDJ), Frederic also focuses on Zi Wei Dou Shu (ZWDS), also known as Purple Star Astrology. He sees many interconnections among elements of the I Ching, QMDJ, and ZWDS. He continues his research and believes that understanding the commonalities among these systems makes them easier and more enriching for students to learn. He has benefited greatly from the tutelage of Grandmaster Dougles Chan and hopes others can share in the same benefits.
