Before we study Qi Men Dun Jia, or any Chinese metaphysics, we must understand the basic logic of Heaven – Earth – Man.
Because when you misinterpret the basic information about Heaven – Earth – Man, or Qi Men Dun Jia, or Bazi, or any other Chinese metaphysics, you will not be able to fully understand the logic that is hidden. It is very important to understand Heaven – Earth – Man. Once you understand the whole cosmic relationship, you will be able to see the gist of everything, and everything will make sense. So, for beginners, if you want to know about this Qi Men Dun Jia, Heaven – Earth – Man is the thing that you need to know, you need to understand the concepts. Let me explain to you what every single category of Heaven – Earth – Man really stands for and what implications it has in your life.
HEAVEN – EARTH – MAN
Heaven luck equates to the time that you are born and the things that are fixed and cannot be changed.
Earth luck equates to the environment where you are born. For example, you are in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, the US, or the UK. Whatever country you are born in or the specific city that you are born in, there will be some differences.
Man luck equates to the activities or actions that you take or do not take.
So, these are the gists of Heaven luck, Earth luck, and Man luck. In short, we call it Heaven – Earth – Man.
HEAVEN
In detail, Heaven in Chinese we call “Tian Shi – 天时” is the time that we are born. It is Destiny and DNA we had, which cannot be changed. It is predetermined, which is our birthday, our parents, our grandfather, our siblings, etc. All of them are fixed and cannot be changed.
Heaven is also 50% fate when you are born (early heaven) that cannot be changed. Late heaven, which is after you are born, is 50% luck and can be changed to a certain extent.
EARTH
Earth means the country, city, and family we are born into. It is also the environment that we are in. For example, if you live in Hong Kong, Singapore, or a better environment, things will apparently change. Even if you go to company A or B, things will change. We call them environmental factors.
Earth also talks about the workplace, the career or business that you are in, the industry that you are in, the location, and the direction that you are going in terms of life. Of course, it can be adjusted based on something like Feng Shui to create the energy. And this factor can be changed.
MAN
Man talks about the activities we do, the action we take or do not take. Of course, the more knowledgeable you are, the more culture you learn, the religious you are in, the better people you mixed with, the better your environment can be. It is also your beliefs on certain things. It can be controlled 100%.
Man also equates your character which is input in your Bazi , the karma that you do (the more good things you do, the better things will come back to your turn), the virtues that you are creating, how much you are educated, how hardworking you are, the actions and activities that you do.
HEAVEN – EARTH – MAN
The outcome of your life, your Bazi, or even the usage of Qi Men Dun Jia, is not equally divided into 33.33% of Heaven, Earth, and Man. If you focus your energy on the main part, it will be 50%. But of course, having said that, Heaven cannot be changed, the Earth can be changed, and Man can be changed. It means you can actually control most parts of your life to be in a better situation if you choose to be. A lot of people think that their lives are fixed. I mean, they are not wrong if they believe that things will just carry on to what is created in their Bazi. From there, things will not go well. But if they think because the Earth side and the Man side can change, there is a very high chance they can take things in the best direction and create a good situation.
This is the basic logic of Heaven – Earth – Man. Why is it so important? Because a lot of people think that when they do the divination in Qi Men Dun Jia, when they do a Bazi reading, it equates to an absolute result. No, it is not going to be like that. There is no such thing as 100%. Qi Men Dun Jia or Bazi reading is so powerful, it is correct, but it is not 100% absolute. It means you have the ability to change things if you choose to. So, this is so important that a lot of people just take it for granted whenever it is spread by the Qi Men Dun Jia masters or the Bazi reading masters. When you learn these Chinese metaphysics, the Heaven – Earth – Man is not fixed, and you are able to change it for your life. It is really important.
