These flaws not only seriously hinder the person’s own career from taking off, but can easily trap them in life’s quagmire, unable to pull free.

Overly conservative stubbornness and rigid thinking that traps oneself in a cocoon

The Problem Star’s most notable flaw lies in an unshakeable stubbornness and rigid adherence to convention at its core. As pure Yin Earth, it lacks the Yang firmness of Gen Earth, and even more lacks the fluid agility of the Water Star. A person influenced by the Problem Star’s negative energy has extremely rigid thinking patterns, accustomed to clinging stubbornly to past experience, traditional dogma, or their own narrow logic. In a fast-changing modern society and business environment, this trait often manifests as serious adherence to outdated convention. Facing new technology in an industry, a new market model, or a new management concept, they instinctively develop a resistance and rejection, finding it extremely hard to make timely adjustments or transform. This stubbornness of “refusing to shed a tear until seeing the coffin” often causes them to miss out on the wealth opportunities of the times, becoming a conservative force blocking reform within corporate management, ultimately trapping themselves in their own cocoon and being ruthlessly eliminated by the times.

The Problem Star belongs to Earth, governing stillness, and carries a slow-tempered gene, which, reflected in action, is a classic case of “procrastination” and a “slow temperament.” The Bandit Star acts swiftly and decisively, fearing no danger, while the Problem Star is precisely the opposite. They decide slowly, execute even more slowly, always overthinking every possible outcome, endlessly agonizing over details. This lack of boldness often becomes a fatal weakness at a startup’s early stage or at a critical moment requiring a quick breakthrough. They extremely lack pioneering spirit and adventurousness, unwilling to step out of their comfort zone to face unknown challenges. Very often, a great business opportunity or life turning point quietly slips away amid the Problem Star’s repeated deliberation and standing still in procrastination. They are more accustomed to relying on their existing environment, lacking the drive to fight alone and build something from nothing; without strong outside pressure to push them, they easily drift into mediocrity.

Stinginess and a narrow pattern of dispersing wealth only to end up isolated

From the perspective of wealth management, although the Problem Star favors the accumulation of fixed assets, its negative trait is a “miser”-like stinginess and pettiness. Kun Earth represents an extremely strong possessiveness and reluctance to let go. The Bandit Star understands the principle that “dispersing wealth gathers people,” happy to share profit; while a Problem Star with unfavorable fortune easily goes to the extreme of placing too much importance on money and interests. The Problem Star belongs to Earth, and Earth governs the flesh and desire; when the Problem Star’s energy is unfavorable, it often represents that the person easily indulges in gluttony, material desire, or impure sensory pleasure. They may overeat, stay up late for long periods, or indulge in a decadent lifestyle of tobacco, alcohol, wealth, and excess, or a comfortable nest. Because the Problem Star lacks the Yang firmness of self-restraint, once they pick up a bad habit, they find it extremely hard to quit, often sinking into the quagmire as deeply as an addiction. This long-term, chronic drain on their body and spirit thoroughly erodes their willpower, exhausting their innate vital essence, ultimately triggering the various chronic diseases, skin diseases, immune system disorders, and even malignant tumors mentioned earlier, completing a tragic transformation from spiritual decline to physical destruction.

“Creating loopholes” in the broad sense, and being a toxic presence within a team

Finally, in business rivalry and human affairs prediction, the Problem Star’s flaws also show up in its inherent “destructiveness through construction.” If a core team member carries strongly unfavorable Problem Star traits, they often become the “source of negative energy” and “loophole creator” within the team.
