A Student Mention Qi Men Dun Jia is not accurate

One of my students once told me that Qi Men Dun Jia was not accurate.

To be honest, I was puzzled.

After that, the student left the class. Instead of ignoring it, I followed up. I met her personally to understand what actually happened. I wanted to know why she felt Qi Men Dun Jia did not work for her.

And this is what she told me.

She had been using Qi Men Dun Jia for divination. Every time she had a question, she would plot a chart. But she didn’t stop there. A few days later, she would plot another chart for the same question. Then another one again.

So eventually, she had multiple charts for the same issue.

Now the question becomes: which chart do you follow?

Each chart is different because it reflects the timing of that moment. Different timing means different indicators. When you keep plotting new charts without any major change in the situation, you are creating multiple sets of information.

That leads to confusion.
That leads to disorder.
That leads to contradiction.

And when results contradict each other, people conclude: “This tool is not accurate.”

But is the tool really the problem?

In Qi Men Dun Jia divination, the rule is very clear:
Always respect the first chart.

The first chart reflects the energy of the moment when the question is sincerely asked. That is the most accurate reflection of the situation and the direction.

Can you plot a new chart later?

Yes — but only under one condition.

If there is a major change in the scenario.
If something significant has shifted.
If the environment, decision, or circumstances have materially changed.

Only then can you generate a new chart.

If nothing has changed and you keep plotting, you are not doing divination. You are creating noise.

Many times, when people say Qi Men Dun Jia is inaccurate, I will ask them one simple question:

“How well do you actually understand the system?”

Most of the time, the issue is not the tool. The issue is how the tool is used.

Qi Men Dun Jia is just a tool. Just like any tool — Feng Shui, BaZi, profiling systems — it depends entirely on the user.

If you misuse a hammer, you can break something unintentionally. That doesn’t mean the hammer is wrong.

The real question is:

Do you know what you don’t know?

In metaphysics, having knowledge is not enough. You must also have humility and an open mind.

Throughout my years of learning Qi Men Dun Jia, I threw away many things. Literally.

I filtered out methods that were not consistent. I tested everything. I removed what did not work. I kept what was validated repeatedly.

What I teach in my class is already filtered.
Systematic.
Structured.
Step-by-step.

But even then, students must follow the process.

There is a formula.
There is a system.
There is a sequence.

Step 1.
Step 2.
Step 3.

If you mix up the process and try to be clever, you may distort the outcome.

Don’t be a “smart shortcut” practitioner.

Unless you have already proven a better formula through testing and validation, respect the system first. Master it properly before modifying it.

I am very open to improvement. Some of my students have discovered additional layers beyond what I initially taught. I am happy about that. That means they truly understood the foundation.

But before innovation, there must be discipline.

Qi Men Dun Jia, when used correctly, can help you:

Make better decisions
Understand people deeply
Avoid unnecessary risks
Improve relationships
Enhance career direction
Increase financial awareness

But only if you follow the structure.

Accuracy is not just about the tool.
Accuracy is about correct usage.
